The collector’s edition of Nintendo 3DS video game Beyblade Evolution will come with an exclusive, six-piece Wing Pegasus 90WF toy previously unavailable outside of Japan. The bundle is expected to be released in autumn.
Rising Star Games, publisher of the video game, says Beyblade Evolution lets players launch an in-game Beyblade to battle computer and human opponents. It will also provide a sneak peek of the upcoming TV series Beyblade: Shogun Steel, which is set to premier worldwide also in autumn.
The revolutionary metal beyblade that comes with the bundle has an all-new two-part metal fusion wheel, ideal for the competitive collector, and it’s fully compatible with the new series of Beyblades.
The combination of video game and toy video game is expected to further boost the sales of Beyblade toys which consistently make major retailers' top ten toy lists. With more than 150 million Beyblade toys sold worldwide, Beyblade is considered as one of the strongest toy lines on the market today.
Beyblade Evolution is licensed by d-rights, a representative of Nelvana Enterprises, and Rising Star has also partnered with Hasbro for the special edition toy that will come with the bundle.
A standard edition Beyblade Evolution will also be available which doesn’t include the toy.
